Introducing Quanesha!

Posted on September 12th, 2018 by Rachel White

Today we want to introduce you to our office administrator! Quanesha, also known as “Q” and “Nesha” around the office, started at SDG in May after graduating from Langston University with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts & Education. She was born in Oklahoma City and has divided her time between the OKC metro area and Ardmore communities since then. Nesha is a self-proclaimed “mama’s girl” with a strong creative side. She has a passion for drawing and is currently challenging herself to build things with balsa wood and foam board. I asked her a few questions so we could all get to know the cheerful voice behind the phone just a little better…

Q.  When you aren't working, what are you likely to be doing?
A.  I am most likely at the gym or with my mom (or sometimes both). I’ll often meet my mom and nana after work to walk around the park or just hang out.

Q. What is something you have read recently that you wish you could share with everyone you meet?
A. A book that I recently read that I think people should read is called Neurowisdom: The New Brain Science of Money, Happiness, and Success.

Q. What's the most recent bit of knowledge you've picked up?
A. [From the Neurowisdom book]: To better achieve any important goal in life you need to master four neurological processes; Motivation, decision making, creativity, and the ability to become fully aware of yourself and the need of others. Oh! Also that houses in Mexico are made of concrete.

Thank you, Nesha! We are so happy to have you on board and can't wait to see your next balsa wood project!
