Please help us welcome Sarah, our new business manager! Sarah Hostetler started at SDG in July, though for the last eight years she worked for an oilfield products company in Sulphur. So far she has found the change from a large company to a owner-operated small business refreshing. Originally from Warsaw, Indiana, Sarah still has a soft spot for Indiana sweet corn and Bobby Knight. We asked her a few questions so we could all get to know her a little bit better:
Q. When you aren't working, what are you likely to be doing?
A. When it’s not 110 degrees, I like being outside watering and enjoying my flower garden--it's how I relax. I was also just introduced to Striper fishing!
Q. What's the most recent bit of knowledge you've picked up?
A. I never realized the meticulous process that architects go through to get something built—meetings, budgets, client communication, permits, proposals, billing, and just keeping everyone happy!
Q. What is something you have read recently that wish you could share with everyone you meet?
A. When driving, books on tape are the best! The last book I listened to was The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, which is a great book. It is so unpredictable!
Thanks, Sarah! We are excited to have you on the SDG Team!
