The proposed renovation of the existing 1,500 square foot building located within the City of Ardmore Historic District to include an upscale salon and esthetician parlor. Private and serene facial rooms, and an open salon area with the historic skylight centered in the room set the stage for this building. The proposed renovation also included a complete reconstructed storefront complete with a new awning and valance to allow the building to stand out along the streetscape. SDG was able to provide full design services including Parts 1 through 3 of the Historic Tax Credit Incentive application process with the National Park Service and the Secretary of Interior. The project is currently occupied and is under review for approval of Part 3 in the application process.
